Even the newcomer feels comfortable and secure in the newborn deployment. The Ergo Recline feature can be used with one hand. It offers your baby a flatter and healthier lying position. This promotes the healthy development of the spine and keeps the airways open at all times. The Ergo Recline technology can be used in the car and outside. So your baby can sleep relaxed at any time. 

The extra-large sun canopy is adjustable independently of the carrying handle. The wide sidewalls provide the best possible protection by directing possible impact energy away from the child. 

Fastening in the vehicle 

The baby seat is always attached against the direction of travel. It can be mounted particularly securely in the car in combination with the separately available Flex Base 5Z. In this case, you can turn the seat directly towards the open car door: This gives you quick access to your baby. 

Since the unlocking button always turns, you can also operate it easily. So you can easily remove the shell from the vehicle. Alternatively, the infant carrier can also be fitted using the vehicle’s belts.

The BABY-SAFE 5Z can be used with strollers from Britax Römer and other leading manufacturers. The adapters required for this are already included in the scope of delivery of the Britax Römer prams. The adapters required for using the BABY-SAFE 5Z with pushchairs from other manufacturers are available separately.
